Intentional Dreaming

Intentional dreaming is a form of prayer and a timeless practice for receiving divine guidance, wisdom, compassion, and grace. While our physical body rests, our soul awakens to reveal underlying and often hidden insights through our dreams. Intentional Dreaming is as ancient as time itself. For at least the past 5,000 years, indigenous cultures all over the world received and interpreted dreams for insight, prophecy, and guidance, and many still do today. For example, in Ancient Greece, dream temples served as a sanctuary for those experiencing physical or emotional distress to receive healing through dreaming. While the roots of intentional dreaming run far and deep, it’s possible to meet this practice with the complicated and timely questions present within you today.

About The Author

Madeline Giles is a somatic spiritual counselor, breath facilitator & herbalist devoted to living and dreaming a more compassionate world into being.

Madeline has been an avid dreamer throughout her life, yet her dreams deepened to another level when she learned the practice of Intentional Dreaming in 2013. Over the past 12 years, she has quietly devoted herself to steady personal practice and deepened experiential learning with courses and offerings from various dream teachers.

Madeline hold a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing and has extensive training in somatic healing & post-traumatic growth. She began publicly offering classes a decade ago through founding Angelic Breath Healing, a breathwork practice that facilitates attuning to angelic assistance from within.Then I Woke Up is her first book.
