Faith in the grace of the dark.

I don’t want fast and furious.

I like sllloooowww and steady step by step breath by breath emergent embers. Growing, glowing coals that wordlessly emanate the healing hands of time.

Sparks ignite. Coals whisper words unheard by the fleeting dance of fueled flames.

I think most of my life I’ve wanted the fast and furious sparks to lead me somewhere ripe and ready, a place I could stay. But ignited flames don’t burn to last. It’s the coals, the embers, the ash that carry seeds of stories made for life within and beyond time.

I believe embers are like the seeds planted in the holy darkness of our hearts...their whispers never quite go away, although may embody different phases based on the seasons of life we move through.

And no matter the inner/outer season, we are invited again and again to attune and bring forth the embers emanating within us.

This can go many ways - sometimes bringing forth means dropping DOWN and in. Surrender. Humility. Faith in the grace of the dark. Other times it’s an arisen emergence - calling from the cave, let the weathering of wisdom be witnessed!

Whatever it may be, we all have embers and seeds planted in the holy grove of our hearts, whispering and weaving invitations....what are they calling you towards just right here and now? They’re worthy of your attention <3
